Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Richard Marx will take the stage for an exclusive solo performance as the headliner of Center Celebration 2025, presented by Ice Miller. This highly anticipated annual gala serves as the primary fundraiser for the Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts.
Marx, a pop/rock and adult contemporary legend, has sold over 30 million albums worldwide. He holds the distinction of being the only male artist to have his first seven singles reach the Billboard Top 5, with hits such as "Hold On to the Nights" and "Don’t Mean Nothing." Over the span of four decades, Marx has amassed 14 No. 1 singles as a performer, songwriter, and producer.
In an unprecedented show of support, all publicly available tables for the September 20 event at the Palladium have already sold out—well ahead of schedule. However, a limited number of sponsorship packages, which include seating and other exclusive benefits, remain available. More details can be found at TheCenterPresents.org/Gala.
“This level of enthusiasm is extraordinary,” said President and CEO Jeffrey C. McDermott. “Selling out before announcing our headliner underscores the incredible commitment our community has to supporting the arts and the impactful programming we provide at the Allied Solutions Center.”
Hosted by Artistic Director Michael Feinstein, Center Celebration 2025 will commence with the First Merchants Bank Cocktail Reception, followed by an elegant dinner inside the Palladium concert hall. Guests will enjoy an exciting live auction, Marx’s exclusive performance, and lively after-parties in the Brham Founders Club (sponsored by Will and Yasmin Stump) and the Robert Adam Room, featuring live music, food, and drinks. Proceeds from the evening will directly support the Allied Solutions Center’s diverse arts programming and educational initiatives.
Funds raised will benefit an array of programs, including the Peanut Butter & Jam performance series for families with young children, the Prism Project summer camp for youth with disabilities, and free school matinee performances and science presentations. The gala also supports the donor-funded Transportation Grant Program, which assists school groups with travel costs, as well as a variety of arts classes for adults—ranging from vocal music and songwriting to stand-up comedy and ukulele instruction.
Center Celebration 2025 generates revenue through table reservations, corporate sponsorships, direct donations, and an exciting auction featuring luxury getaways and VIP professional sports experiences, generously donated by supporters. This year’s Gala Steering Committee is led by returning co-chairs Caroline and Michael Garvey, alongside first-time co-chairs David and Annette Greene.
Last year’s gala, featuring headliner Chris Botti, raised over $588,000 in support of the Allied Solutions Center’s mission to “inspire and engage the Indiana community with enriching arts experiences.”
