Multi-platinum, 13-time Grammy Award-winner John Legend has announced the highly anticipated “Get Lifted 20th Anniversary World Tour”, celebrating two decades since the release of his groundbreaking debut album. The global tour, with select dates produced by Live Nation, will span over 40 cities across the UK, Europe, and North America — including a special performance at the Fishers Event Center in Fishers, Indiana, on Sunday, November 16, 2025.

North American presales begin on Wednesday, March 26, with general on-sale opening on Friday, March 28. For ticket details and additional information, visit johnlegend.com.

Backed by his full band, Legend will perform Get Lifted in its entirety, bringing the album’s rich blend of R&B, neo-soul, and hip-hop to life. The record earned eight Grammy nominations and won three awards at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards, including:

  • Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for the iconic hit "Ordinary People"

  • Best R&B Album for Get Lifted

  • Best New Artist

Concertgoers can expect a captivating mix of deep cuts, fan favorites, and fresh renditions of the album’s classics, including "Used to Love U," "Number One," "So High," and the Grammy-winning "Ordinary People," which became a breakout hit, reaching the Billboard Top 40 and topping the UK R&B Singles Chart. The show will also include highlights from Legend’s extensive career, celebrating his two decades of genre-defying music and powerful storytelling.

To mark the tour announcement, Legend will appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this evening as both a talk and musical guest. He’ll perform "Used to Love U" alongside Black Thought, backed by The Roots. Black Thought is also featured on the remixed version of "Used 2 Love U", which appears on the digital deluxe and 3LP vinyl editions of Get Lifted (20th Anniversary) — out now. The re-release includes 11 bonus tracks, featuring new collaborations with Tems, Killer Mike, Lil Wayne, and Simi, plus eight brand-new remixes, rare B-sides, and two previously unreleased studio performances from the original Get Lifted sessions.

Originally released on December 28, 2004 — Legend’s 26th birthday — Get Lifted introduced him as a major force in contemporary music. Co-produced by Legend himself, the album blends sophisticated melodies, raw street smarts, and pop sensibilities, earning double platinum certification from the RIAA. Its influence cemented Legend as both a crossover star and a masterful storyteller.

Before Get Lifted, Legend’s musical prowess was already well-known behind the scenes. He played piano on Lauryn Hill’s "Everything Is Everything" and provided backup vocals for Jay-Z and Alicia Keys. As the first artist signed to Kanye West’s GOOD Music, Legend quickly made his mark, with Get Lifted debuting at #7 on the Billboard 200 and eventually peaking at #4, selling 116,000 copies in its first week.

Don’t miss the chance to experience John Legend’s timeless debut album live on stage, reimagined for a new era, alongside the chart-topping hits that have defined his illustrious career.
