Indianapolis to Host NFL Scouting Combine Through 2026

The NFL has announced Indianapolis will host the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, continuing a partnership that began in 1987 and was previously set to run through 2025.

“Indianapolis and the NFL Combine have a proud history together, so we’re thrilled to continue our longstanding partnership with Visit Indy, the Indianapolis Colts, and the local community for this 2026 event,” said Peter O’Reilly, executive vice president, club business, international, and league events at the NFL. “Our partners in Indy have successfully hosted the football evaluation process for decades, and recently, we’ve collectively worked to grow and evolve the in-person fan experience, bringing tens of thousands of fans closer to the league’s future stars.”

Since coming to Indy more than three decades ago, the event has grown immensely. The 2024 NFL Combine generated a record-setting $9.26 million in economic impact while attracting more than 27,200 fans who attended the family-friendly Combine Experience – the NFL’s free interactive fanfest – and “Inside Look,” which takes fans inside the stadium and provides them with up-close, in-stadium access to the league’s future stars.

“Indianapolis is uniquely designed and built to host an event as complex as the NFL Combine,” said Pete Ward, chief operating officer with the Indianapolis Colts. “Efficiently moving prospects, team owners, coaching staff, medical personnel, and national media is seamlessly done in Indy, and the Colts are proud to be part of the team keeping the event in our city.”

The 2025 NFL Combine will mark the 38th year Indy has hosted and helped grow the event, produced by National Football Scouting, Visit Indy, the Indiana Convention Center & Lucas Oil Stadium, the City of Indianapolis, IU Health, and the Indiana Sports Corp collectively working alongside the Indianapolis Colts.

“We appreciate the NFL’s continued commitment and interest in Indy and the Colts ongoing partnership,” said Chris Gahl, executive vice president & chief marketing officer for Visit Indy.  “We know Indy is always on audition, striving to keep the event in our city. We are constantly looking to improve and grow the Combine to enhance the fan-facing experience for visitors and fans.”

The 2025 NFL Combine will occur from Thursday, February 27 to Sunday, March 2.  As a key stop before the NFL Draft, the NFL Combine provides an exciting opportunity for fans to witness the future talent of the NFL up close before prospects find their new team.  Fans can attend the free event live over the span of four days, gaining special access to the best of the NFL – prospects, coaches, GMs, scouts, media talent, NFL Legends.

The NFL will once again host the free NFL Combine Experience – the league’s free interactive fanfest – in the South Lot of Lucas Oil Stadium. Fans can take photos with the Colts Super Bowl XLI Vince Lombardi Trophy, view all 58 Super Bowl rings up close, participate in interactive games and purchase exclusive merchandise from NFL Shop presented by Visa. Fans will also have access to “Inside Look,” which takes them inside the stadium, providing up-close, in-stadium access to the league’s future stars.

Fans can register their interest now at NFL.com/Combine prior to event registration opening in March.
