Grab your flannel shirts, frosted tips, and platform shoes—the Indianapolis Men’s Chorus (IMC) is taking audiences on a tubular trip back to the ’90s with their upcoming show, “Whatever, As If!” Join the IMC for this nostalgic celebration on April 18-19, 2025 at the Warren Performing Arts Center.
This vibrant, high-energy performance is more than just a concert—it’s a full-blown ’90s variety show that captures the essence of a decade that gave us boy bands, grunge, TRL, and the birth of the internet. With a mix of powerful ballads, infectious dance hits, and hilarious throwbacks, “Whatever, As If!” is a musical time machine guaranteed to get audiences of all ages singing along.
“The ’90s were a foundational decade—not just for music, but for the IMC itself,” said Stephen McCoy, Executive Director of the IMC. “This show is a celebration of that era’s energy, creativity, and pop culture magic.”
The IMC will deliver performances of some of the biggest hits from pop, rock, R&B, and more, from Whitney Houston and NSYNC to Alanis Morissette and Nirvana. Audiences can also expect clever skits, nostalgic visuals, and choreography straight out of their favorite ’90s music videos.
“We want people to feel like they’ve stepped into a ’90s mixtape,” said Greg Sanders, IMC’s Artistic Director. “It’s a night of pure fun, with a few surprises along the way.”
