Indianapolis Cultural Trail, Inc. is excited to announce the return of Eggventure on the Canal, powered by PNC, taking place on Saturday, April 19 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. This free, family-friendly event invites participants of all ages and abilities to explore the scenic Downtown Canal through a fun and interactive scavenger hunt.

Eggventure on the Canal offers a choose-your-own-adventure experience where attendees can complete a variety of challenges and activities along the canal to collect candy-filled eggs. New this year, guests can enjoy free mini canal boat rides, balloon animals, and a live children’s music performance by Mr. Daniel. Whether walking, running, strolling, or biking, participants are welcome to complete all or part of the 2.5-mile route at their own pace. Empty eggs can be exchanged for bonus prizes at the end of the adventure.

“Eggventure on the Canal exemplifies how the Indianapolis Cultural Trail is a community builder and connector,” said Kären Haley, Executive Director of the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. “We invite people of all ages and abilities to enjoy this event—it’s a wonderful way to stay active while exploring downtown, our greenspaces, and everything the Cultural Trail has to offer.”

The event is made possible with support from The PNC Foundation, a longtime partner of the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. PNC’s commitment has helped expand pedestrian-friendly transportation and promote engagement in arts, culture, and wellness throughout the city.

“PNC is proud to support the Indianapolis Cultural Trail and events like Eggventure that bring our community together,” said Jason Eckerle, PNC regional president for central and southern Indiana. “We are lucky to have such an exceptional public space, and it’s exciting to see how the trail continues to attract families and visitors to the heart of downtown.”

To join the fun, take the Cultural Trail to the Orange Bridge and use the ramps or stairs to access the Downtown Canal. Visit the Information Tent near the Colts Canal Playspace (701 Canal Walk) at the intersection of Senate Avenue and Walnut Street for maps and final prizes.
