After a sold-out performance in 2022 at the Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts, Grammy-winning trumpeter and recording artist Herb Alpert is making his highly anticipated return to Indiana. Fans of Alpert’s signature sound will have the chance to experience his timeless music as he brings a new six-member incarnation of The Tijuana Brass to the Palladium in Carmel for a special celebration of his most iconic album.

Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, at the Palladium, located at 1 Carter Green in Carmel. Tickets start at $35 and will be available for purchase beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday. Fans can secure their seats by visiting TheCenterPresents.org, calling (317) 843-3800, or purchasing in person at the Palladium’s Fifth Third Bank Box Office.

The concert is part of the Drewry Simmons Vornehm Jazz Series and is the first announced event from the 2025-2026 Center Presents Season, sponsored by Allied Solutions. This year, Alpert is touring to mark the 60th anniversary of his landmark album Whipped Cream & Other Delights, an album that helped define the brass-driven pop sound of the 1960s.

Attendees can look forward to a dynamic 90-minute stage production that blends music, audience interaction, and multimedia elements, including projections of classic photos and video footage from Alpert’s illustrious career. The setlist will be a parade of beloved hits, featuring classics like “The Lonely Bull,” “Spanish Flea,” “A Taste of Honey,” “Mexican Shuffle,” “Tijuana Taxi,” “This Guy’s In Love With You,” “Zorba the Greek,” “Rise,” and many more.

With a career spanning over six decades, Herb Alpert's legacy is nothing short of extraordinary. He has achieved five No. 1 hits, won nine Grammy Awards, and earned 15 Gold and 14 Platinum albums. With over 72 million records sold worldwide, his impact on the music industry is immeasurable. Beyond his own recordings, Alpert co-founded A&M Records, where he played a pivotal role in producing and nurturing the careers of artists such as Sergio Mendes, Stan Getz, and Gato Barbieri.

This upcoming performance at the Palladium is a must-see event for jazz and pop music lovers alike. Whether revisiting the nostalgic sounds of Whipped Cream & Other Delights or experiencing The Tijuana Brass live for the first time, audiences can expect an evening of unparalleled musicianship and entertainment.
