As the Fishers Event Center continues to build an exciting lineup of concerts, sporting events, and community gatherings, patrons are also being treated to a creative local flair throughout the venue. The state-of-the-art, 7,500-seat entertainment destination, which has recently welcomed acts such as Turnpike Troubadours, Alabama, Cirque du Soleil, comedian Jeff Foxworthy, and the inaugural Pro Volleyball Federation All-Star Match, has partnered with local artists to create exclusive, venue-specific artwork.
These custom installations, ranging from large-scale murals to intricate recycled-material sculptures, reflect the region's vibrant creativity while enhancing the visitor experience.
Featured Artists and Their Work
Aaron Scamihorn
An award-winning creative professional, Scamihorn is known for his striking gig posters, product design, and over 20 years of marketing expertise. His accolades include two Emmys®, four Gold Addys, and features in numerous design annuals.
At Fishers Event Center: Scamihorn’s work appears on two "Photo Op" walls on the first and second-level concourses, incorporating Fishers Event Center branding with event-inspired imagery. He also designed custom posters for major shows, including Turnpike Troubadours, Lindsey Stirling, Alabama, and the Indy Fuel home opener. For Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Scamihorn designed a custom stamp featured on marigold seed packets distributed at the concert in exchange for donations to The Marigold Project.
Lucie Rice
Rice, originally from Kentucky, brings a playful, mid-century-inspired style to her work, characterized by bold colors, layered patterns, and rich textures. With an MFA in illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design, her clients include Google, The New Yorker, and the Grand Ole Opry.
At Fishers Event Center: Rice’s murals adorn District Eats, the second-level concourse visible from the bowl, and the staircase leading to the upper level. Her designs celebrate the venue’s role in Hamilton County, with phrases like "This must be the place" and "You're exactly where you're supposed to be", creating a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere.
Chromatic Collective
A creative duo composed of fine artists Rafael Caro and Erica Parker, Chromatic Collective is known for its graffiti-inspired, color-rich murals. With roots in the Indianapolis creative scene, they have made their mark through public art and mural collaborations.
At Fishers Event Center: Their murals are displayed in the back-of-house areas, including the tour entryway, green room hallway, and Zamboni garage. These energetic, vibrant pieces aim to create a home-away-from-home atmosphere for visiting performers, while also capturing the excitement of live events.

Mike Altman
Altman is recognized for transforming recycled materials into imaginative, eco-conscious artwork. His pieces reflect a dedication to sustainability and creative repurposing.
At Fishers Event Center: Altman’s sculptures are showcased in the back-of-house green room hallway. In a nod to the venue’s history, he crafted colorful, whimsical figures using the cardboard boxes that once held the arena’s seats. These playful characters pay homage to the artists who grace the stage while symbolizing the transformation of the venue itself.
Kristi Armstrong
As the Ticket Office Manager at Fishers Event Center, Armstrong brought her artistic vision to the venue’s Sensory Room Presented by DAMAR®.
At Fishers Event Center: Inspired by sensory spaces at other venues, Armstrong created a soothing wood wall art piece featuring Indiana’s state flower, the peony. Her design offers a calming, locally inspired touch for guests seeking a quiet, relaxing environment.
Fishers Flower Farm
Founded by mother-daughter duo Kayti and Mackenzie, Fishers Flower Farm offers nature-inspired experiences and locally grown, sustainable blooms.
At Fishers Event Center: During Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, the farm crafted two vibrant flower towers wrapped around large "NRNS" letters, creating a striking photo backdrop. The display encouraged donations to The Marigold Project, filling the concourse with color and community spirit.
