The 53rd annual OneAmerica Financial Broad Ripple Art Fair on May 17 and 18 will be as much a music festival as an art festival, with live music curated by Indy Jazz Fest.
The annual event features art from more than 150 artists, hands-on interactive artmaking for all ages, as well as music from some of Indy’s top artists.
The music lineup follows.
Saturday, May 17th
Noon-1 p.m.: Son de Esquina
1:15-2:15 p.m.: Tad Robinson
2:30-3:30 p.m.: Phelps Connection
3:45-4:45 p.m.: Bashiri Asad
Sunday, May 17th
Noon-1 p.m.: Cathy Morris
1:15-2:15 p.m.: The Doo
2:30-3:30 p.m.: Goldie
3:45-4:45 p.m.: Rob Dixon and Triology
Visual artists apply to participate in the fair, and only a fraction of those who apply are chosen. This year, more than 300 artists applied for 150 spots. The 2025 fair also features an “Emerging Artists” area where selected Art Center students, college students and beginning artists sell their work.
Income from the event supports Indy Art Center programs, including contemporary art exhibitions that are free and open to the public seven days a week; ArtReach, which takes youth and teen art classes into underserved communities; ArtTroop for veterans and active-duty military; and hundreds of classes and camps.
