About Destination Indy

 

Destination Indy is an online publication focusing on LGBTQ business, arts, culture and philanthropy within greater Indianapolis. The publication was founded by Joey Amato, an Indy resident since 2019. Before relocating from Nashville, Tennessee, Joey published a bi-monthly magazine titled UNITE Indianapolis, which spotlighted Indy's LGBTQ community. The publication began in Nashville in 2013 and expanded to Indianapolis in 2015.
